We really, really do take our shit with us no matter where we are in the world!  I am currently in what I think is one of the most beautiful places in the world and I am still being rocked/triggered/shaken by the internal crap that is surfacing with these eclipse energies. Fuuuuuucccckkkkk

I find myself regularly going back to the Daily Inspirations to restore some sense and understanding around wtf is going on.  I started writing the Daily Inspirations nearly 5 years ago to help others understand the energetic dynamics of what we are moving through.  Each day when I tap into the energies I move into an altered state where I access a wisdom that truly comes from beyond me.  Thankfully this wisdom gives me and you clarity, insight, guidance and an understanding of what is happening and how we can move through each day with awareness and consciousness.

It was in my early 20’s that I started my awakening journey and first became aware of the impact of the cosmic energies and how they were impacting and influencing us.  In my circle of friends, I was one of a few who was interested in all the ‘spiritual stuff’ and the only one who really deep dived into it all.  What was fascinating to notice is that it did not matter how ‘aware’ or ‘conscious’ someone was they were having similar if not the same energetic experiences that I was.  This is when I really began to understand the collective consciousness and how it permeates everything and everyone regardless of beliefs, religion, culture and race.

Of course, this piqued my interest and I really started to watch and observe the impact that the cosmic energies were having on not only myself but those around me.  I noticed that there were powerful shifts that occurred when there was a Full Moon and a New Moon.  That the energy felt different at the Equinox and the Solstice.  That when there was an eclipse there was a different intensity to the both the Moon and the Sun and that most people seemed to go a little crazy.

I don’t have the right headspace to study astrology but have always been fascinated by it.  I’ve explored, read and studied in my own way the different astrological signs and how they influence or inform the personality.  I’ve looked at the different Moon phases and Sun cycles to see how they influence us both individually and collectively.  I’ve felt into the energy of each significant planetary shift to see what it feels like and how that energy reads in the collective.  As a result, I have a deeper awareness of the energy of the Moon, the Sun, and the Stars and am able to read how that energy is influencing us as individuals and as a collective.

At present we are being strong influenced by the New Moon Solar Eclipse we had on Tuesday October 25th.  Eclipses can be brutal in that they highlight and forcefully bring to our awareness the internal shadows that plague us.  What we do with that awareness is key to how we navigate through their energy.  We can face this energy and what surfaces using it as the next step in our awakening and healing or, we can fall to the ground and martyr ourselves in suffering.

No matter how much I have studied, learnt, mastered and overcome I still find myself falling into old patterns and old beliefs of lack and suffering.  What I have come to recognise is how important self-compassion is in these moments.  Rather than beating myself up for falling down once again I have learnt to gently remind myself of how far I have come, how much I have gained, where I am now, and that the past no longer has any influence on me unless I let it.  Then I slowly pick myself up and get out into nature to restore my balance and remind me of just how incredibly beautiful this life is.  I breath in the living, giving and nurturing energies of nature and come gently back to my centre.

How do you pick yourself up when you’ve been knocked down?
