August 2026 has been an absolute cosmic rollercoaster, serving as one of the most intense months of the decade.  We experienced two powerful eclipses that acted as cosmic reset buttons, shattering old structures and forcing us to confront big, identify defining questions about who we are, how we show up in the world, and the long term direction we are choosing to move in. 

Because eclipses accelerate time and force rapid evolution, this month of high energy brought waves of intense upgrade symptoms like physical exhaustion, intense emotions, and a feeling that everything is moving at an extreme, uncontrollable pace.  Last week’s Lunar Eclipse pushed us to clear the heavy emotional baggage we have carried, bringing emotional revelations, undeniable closures, and a deep, visceral need to release situations, toxic habits, and draining relationships.  For many this has felt like an undeniable internal crisis or sudden realisation that the old ways of being simply do not work anymore.  It forced us to face our shadows and speak unsaid truths.   

Now, as we reach the final day of August, the frantic, chaotic energy of the eclipse is beginning to quieten down.  The energetic undercurrent is shifting us into a space of integration, grounding and cleaning house.  This means letting go of the need to rush into the next big thing as you are being urged to slow down, rest, and physically reorganize your life to match the internal shifts.  Be mindful that as the month comes to a close, you are fundamentally not the same person you were at the start of the month.  While the dust of this incredible month is settling, you may not see where you are or where you are going, but know that the old path is officially behind you.
